Shop Towels Malaysia
Product Overview
Scott Shop Blue Wipes from Blue Box Sdn Bhd are heavy-duty disposable shop towels, supplied as a perforated blue roll of 55 towels in each pack. They are sold in cases of 12 packs and are made for the everyday mess of workshops and garages: grease, oils, liquids, and spills that need wiping up quickly.
Disposable towels replace reusable rags for many jobs. A fresh towel for each wipe-down avoids carrying dirt and oil from one job to the next, and the roll can be torn off at the perforations as needed. The towels are described as ultra-strong and durable, and as still working well when wet, which matters when a towel is soaked with oil or cleaning fluid.
The roll format makes it simple to keep a station stocked. At 2 to 3 kg per pack, each pack is heavy enough to hold its shape on a shelf but still easy to carry. Used towels that are soaked with oil or chemicals are a fire risk and may need to be treated as scheduled waste in Malaysia, so keep them in a closed metal container until disposal, following Department of Environment (DOE) rules.
Safe workshop practice covers hygiene, chemical handling, and personal protection, and DOSH Malaysia provides guidance on these. The towels are one part of a clean workshop routine, not a replacement for proper PPE or chemical controls.
The product description also states that disposable towels are a better choice than laundered cloth towels for protection against lead exposure. That is a health claim made by the manufacturer. Blue Box has not verified it for this page, so it is not repeated here as a fact. Please check the manufacturer’s published information before using it in marketing.
Scott is a registered trademark. The name is used here as supplied, and the buyer should confirm the right to use it.
Blue Box Sdn Bhd supplies the towels as part of its Warehouse Operational Supplies range, so customers across Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Klang, and Selangor can order cleaning consumables with labels, floor marking tapes, and other site supplies from one supplier. 7 PRO Tips
- Tip 1: Tear off a towel at the perforation and use a fresh one for each wipe-down, so you do not spread oil or grit across a surface.
- Tip 2: Use the towels for grease and oil first, then wipe clean areas last, so dirt does not spread.
- Tip 3: Keep oil-soaked towels in a closed metal container, away from heat, and dispose of them according to DOE rules.
- Tip 4: Test the towel with any solvent or cleaning agent you plan to use before a wider clean-up.
- Tip 5: Store the rolls dry and sealed, away from sun and dust, so the towels stay clean until used.
- Tip 6: Keep a roll at each workbench or wash station so towels are used where spills happen.
- Tip 7: Pair towels with gloves and eye protection when handling solvents and degreasers.
