PVC Curtain Strip
Product Overview
The BlueBox PVC curtain strip kit (model B01-00650) is built for a 1.2 metre by 2100mm doorway. It has eight clear cadmium free PVC strips, each 2mm thick and 200mm wide, hung from a 1.2 metre rail. The strips work as an external or internal thermal partition, holding cold or warm air in while letting people and forklifts pass through. The material is rated from -20 C to +40 C, so it suits cold rooms, chillers and warehouse doorways.
This kit complements our workplace safety systems and infrastructure protection ranges. For door and building protection see access control and bollards, and for floor and edge protection see anti-slip mats and floor safety. For larger or non-standard openings, ask about custom safety projects. Browse the full catalogue at the Blue Box Asia homepage.
Keeping cold rooms and warehouses well controlled supports safe working conditions. Refer to DOSH Malaysia for occupational safety guidance on working environments and temperature control, and the WHO road traffic injuries fact sheet for the wider role of clear, visible doorway and traffic routes in preventing accidents.

Overlap the strips so they meet with no gaps, and hang them evenly along the rail. 4. Trim the bottom of the strips so they sit just above the floor for free movement. 5. Wipe the strips with mild soap and water and keep them clear of oil and debris. 6. Replace strips that are torn, brittle or heavily cut. 7. Keep spare strips for quick repairs. |
